Overview of FPD Series

The FPD detector is an integrated module including a compact PMT, a high voltage power supply and a GHz amplifier. Three versions of the photocathode material cover the wavelength range from 185 nm to 920 nm. The module is thermoelectrically cooled and temperature-stabilized for reducing the dark current. The gain is controlled through the M700 unit that allows control of up to four modules. With low dark counts level, low jitter, and an excellent timing resolution the FPD detector series is suitable for time-resolved measurements for both TCSPC and frequency-domain measurements.
